Que cualquier cosa en la que el rake sea mucho más bajo tiene que ser el futuro sí o sí viendo como se están poniendo de duras las mesas.

Y más como no se den prisa con una regulación decente en USA y sigan aumentando su popularidad a este ritmo.

Eso sí, para encontrar tráfico decente te toca irte a horario americano.

Creo que es inevitable opinar sin desvirtuar un poco el hilo

Jugar al poker con una moneda que es en sí una burbuja, creo que es el colmo de la especulación, digamos que jugando en € o en $ que son monedas fuertes, te aporta cierta seguridad, jugar con bitcoins es como si juegas con acciones de bankia, quizá pegas el pelotazo o quizá palmas mucha pasta. No solo estarás sujeto a la varianza del poker si no a la cotización de la moneda y sin ser un experto, viendo el precio actual de los bitcoins y lo que se está extendiendo, se masca la tragedia.

Por otra parte tiene la ventaja clara que como no juegas con moneda real estarás en una situación "alegal"

Bueno, eso sí está claro. Es una burbuja enorme que tiene que acabar explotando (los que pillaran hace unos años han hecho un negocio pefecto eso sí)

Yo me refería más bien al concepto de moneda alegal más que a que tengan que ser las bitcoins en sí.

Me uno al interés del OP por saber como esta funcionando o el futuro que pueda tener a nivel de poker site,si algun jugador de poker de por aquí juega ahí regularmente,etc,independientemente del tema burbuja o no burbuja,que para eso como bién dice el OP hay millones de hilos en la red..

Obviamente hay una relación total entre el valor de esta moneda nueva y lo interesante que sea o no un poker site con ella,pero molaría que este hilo se centre más en el aspecto poker-site y si alguien lo conoce,que para lo otro ya hay hilos (imho eh xd)

Yo soy un total nob en el tema bitcoins.Tengo un conocido que estaba bién plasta con el tema cuando estaban bajísimos y obv no le hice ni caso xd.Hoy he estado un par de buenas horitas leyendo al respecto y me parece fascinante.Vi también lo del poker site,y creo que daban 0.0x bitcoins por empezar a jugar si no leí mal.Y me hice la misma pregunta que el OP.Como probablemente compre una fracción de bitcoin me da curiosidad si puedo gamblear con ella de forma bitcoinEV++ xd

Yo por lo que he leído está petadísimo de regs, regs buenos, regs malos y regs buenísimos. Nivel similar a PS y full tilt pero igual un poco más EV+ debido el menor rake.

Eso sí, puedes tener la sesión de tu vida y haber palmado pasta "real" o tener un downswing de 20k manos y en realidad haber ganado por como ha subido el precio (que parece ser la tendencia de los últimos tiempos pero nunca sabes cuando puede explotar y probablemente ya le vaya tocando)

También leí hace algún tiempo creo que en reddit sobre algún caso gordo de collusion en esta sala.

A mi el hilo me ha despertado las ganas de jugar aquí, a ver si siguen haciendo algún freerroll de estos que hacían a patadas hace tiempo para bancarme.

A mi la curiosidad me está pudiendo xd Acabo de crearme cuenta en el site,y cuando pierda 2 horas más para averiguar el mejor sitio donde comprar bitcoins probablemente lo pruebe.Hay varias mesas de NL200 y más para abajo,e incluso HUs en juego de NL1k y PLO 5k (todo con las equivalencias aprox del valor actual del bitcoin xd).

Hay un hilo en 2+2 bastante concurrido http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/internet-poker/seals-clubs-bitcoin-poker-room-1248197/index416.html y por lo que leo en las últimas páginas parece que este es el único site de bitcoins con cierto tráfico y que está funcionando bién por el momento.

Me da bastante pereza lo de buscar como comprar bitcoins,etc.Si alguien por aquí tiene chips en esta sala y quiere pasarme y le pago con Neteller que me diga.

Lo mismo, si encuentras donde comprar comenta please. De esta semana no pasa que pruebe la sala.

Alguien que esté más metido en el tema podría hablar un poco de que tal está el tema del rake fuera de microlímites.

No he probado esa sala pero por ahora tiene muy poco tráfico. Según pokerscout la media de jugadores de cash no había superado nunca los 100 jugadores hasta hace cosa de un mes, que pegó un subidón coincidiendo con el boom del bitcoin, y ahora ronda los 120-130. El pico máximo no ha llegado nunca a 300.

A mí me parece fascinante el invento del bitcoin y todo lo que le rodea, incluyendo la tremenda especulación que hay con ella, pero hoy por hoy es algo totalmente desconocido para la mayoría de la gente y muy pocas personas la usan. Está claro que cuanta más aceptación tenga el bitcoin, más éxito tendrá esa sala mientras la competencia no adopte también el bitcoin.

Me he registrado para mirar mesas y veo que en todas se puede jugar con 20bb, lo que me ha producido una ligera erección 😄

Y ahora mi duda es los bitcoins. ¿En esa sala sólo se juga en bitcoins? Pero si 800-900 euros equivalen a un bitcoin, ¿que mierdas voy a jugar con 1 bitcoin? Lo que digo es que para poder jugar ahí NL10 tendría que tener por ejemplo 200bitcoins y eso es demasiado €, así que creo que en algo me he perdido.

PD: Bueno, he mirado y por lo visto te cambia los bitcoins por fichas. ¿Pero a cuanto es el cambio? ¿1bitcoin= 1000 fichas (como el $)?

He estado investigando un poco más y he llegado a varias cosas:

@Pericoo: se juega en chips que con milibitcoins: 1BTN = 1000 chips. Así que las mesas son aproximadamente del mismo valor que en €. Y sí, lo de las 20bb es un subidon jeje.

@Zen y @Bleratio: He estado mirando cómo sería para comprar BTC y es un poco un coñazo... mañana sigo mirando porque no he conseguido nada. Si alguien sabe algo que por favor nos habra los ojos!

@Suripanto: Ahora mismo hay 5 mesas de NL200 6max con 4+ jugadores, en NL100 hay 2 mesas FR, por lo que tampoco me parece tan pobre el volumen. Obviamente es muy poco pero si sigue esta progresion, en pocos meses puede alcanzar un volumen importante. Ahora mismo hay 155 jugadores, solo hay 2 salas .ES que la superan, y una de ellas por muy poco. Lo que decía en el post incial de que había 400 jugadores, es logueados, pero sentados en mesa hay 155.

He leído que el HUD no va, pero en el enlace que pongo por lo visto conviertes el historial de manos (sealswithclubs sí tiene) al formato de full tilt por lo que los trackers lo leen. Sirve para anotar del jugador sus stats. Habrá que investigar más.

Otra cosa que he visto es lo del sistema VIP, que vas subiendo niveles a medida que generas rake y que se acumula lifetime. El máximo RB al que se llega es 50%, pero hay muchos niveles y no hay saltos grandes. En los primeros niveles en vez de RB, el nivel vip te da acceso al freeroll de turno (que al cambio actual son mucho dinero, supongo que lo bajaran cuando lo revisen).

Aparte, tiene una cosa que me ha gustado mucho, que es que si juegas en mesas con 2 o 3 personas (no cuentan los sitout), te dan un 50% de RB de esas manos, para incentivar que se abran nuevas mesas.

Cuenta creada. No me planteo comprar inmediatamente BC para jugar, prefiero esperar un poco para poder informarme mejor sobre el mundo BC y los consejos que se puedan vertir por este hilo.

¿Quizas entrar ahora con el BC en todo lo alto pueda ser precipitarse no? Aunque quien sabe si es mejor ir pillando sitio xD.

Yo lo más alto que he visto las veces que he analizado el tráfico equivaldría a NL100 € (1 mesa solo) y tras un buen rato mirando la mesa muy poca acción. or, folds, todos fold, or fold, or 3bet fold...

Lo peor de todo es que la primera vez que lo vi estaba el BTC sobre 100€ y cuando subió a 800€ volví a mirar y la cosa estaba similar, parecía como si la gente se hubiera adaptado al valor y jugaran menores stakes.

Vamos para que valiera la pena asumir la varianza del BTC, los costes de comprar/vender BTC's y las incomodidades del software, creo que tiene que mejorar muuuuuchisimo. Eso para plantearselo en términos de rentabilidad, si es por el gambleo/bizarreo de jugarse unas manos por bitcoins pues bien.

Hacen algun freeroll? Dan 0,0x bitcoins por registrarte? De momento me parece demasiado arriesgado comprar bitcoins tal como esta el asunto, pero si hacen algo gratis aun se puede tantear el terreno.

Were you sending BTC directly form CoinBase to SWC? If that was the case I could see this as themselves covering their asses, but if you put the coins into your BlockChain account and then onto SWC, I dont see how they would trace that.

Just my two cents, I have been playing on Seals for a while =/ Guess Ill be safer.

You can unlink transactions with Monero. (bitcoin to crypto-exchange, buy monero, move monero to your wallet, move monero back to exchange - or different exchange/different exchange account, buy bitcoin, move bitcoin to coinbase/wherever)

Ultimately your bitcoin will come from an exchange, instead of a casino. Not just any altcoin will support this, all bitcoin-forks have public blockchains, cryptonote currencies do not have public blockchains due to ring signatures and stealth addresses in the entire network.

This is faster than a mixer, or using blockchain.info coinjoin, because Monero has faster confirmation times.

Effective immediately, SealsWithClubs will cease providing Bitcoin poker and will be shutting down all operations except to allow player funds to be withdrawn for a limited period of time. SealsWithClubs is, and has been, completely solvent up to this point in operations.

WE URGE ALL PLAYERS TO WITHDRAW THEIR FUNDS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. PLAYERS SHOULD CEASE ALL ACTIVITY TO THEIR ACCOUNT DEPOSIT ADDRESSSES NOW.

On approximately February 11th, 2015, several events occurred related to operational security that we consider to indicate SealsWithClubs now operates in a perpetual state of jeopardy. We will not divulge details publically, but they may come to light if any team member chooses to come forward of their own volition at a later date. All player funds and data remain intact and the issue was not software related. We do not believe any of our Bitcoin wallets used in operations to be compromised or lost. However, this event has made the majority vote of the ownership and team agree that shutting down operations is the best move for safety and security purposes.

SealsWithClubs Chairman, Bryan Micon, would like to carry forward the business with his own team (currently settling in Antigua) but the majority ownership cannot guarantee the future security, solvency, and integrity of that operation because there will be no administrative oversight carried over from SealsWithClubs. Members of the SealsWithClubs team and ownership are not ones to lightly endorse anything, not even our own longstanding trustworthy team members, which is why nobody ever makes a sole decision. This dynamic has saved the business several times throughout the years. With Micon operating on his own with his own team, the checks and balances we have kept in place against one another internally for 3+ years will have been removed.

As the majority ownership & team will not go forward with operations but Micon is still in a position to do so, it makes the most sense to hand off assets to Micon in order to enable him to provide to our players the best Bitcoin poker experience he can. Micon has been extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to SealsWithClubs for longer than any member of SealsWithClubs historically, and we truly believe he wants what's best for its players.

We've made considerable effort and expense on a SwC 2.0 software package over an extended period of time; we are transferring the rights to that package in full to Micon with the understanding he will remain faithful to the revenue share and licensing agreement SealsWithClubs had with its primary developer(s) that continue work on it. We suspect that the primary developer(s) behind that project will gladly continue working with Micon. Micon will also be provided the swcpoker.eu domain from which we were planning to continue operations from once SwC 2.0 was ready to deploy. As such, we believe Micon will have the resources at his disposal to bring the new site up, backed by the new SwC 2.0 software package, at a rapid pace.

The traditional SwC 1.0 clients and server, based upon the PokerMavens server/client software and protocol, will be retired. There are a number of operational and security considerations to the SwC 1.0 architecture that we do not feel could be properly documented and conveyed to any new team for further operations or development. At this time, those available must focus our efforts elsewhere.

While the majority ownership and team wish the best for Micon and his operation, we prioritize remaining faithful to our player's balances and security first and foremost. The SealsWithClubs.eu domain, related social media accounts and support e-mail addresses (for the duration they are still active and being checked) will solely be used for administrating and paying out all remaining player withdrawal requests. In the event the domain is seized or the current withdrawal server is made inoperational during the period withdrawals are still being administrated, a signed GPG message from hdev or xdev will provide definitive instructions for players to continue making withdrawal requests assuming we are still available and able to draft such a message. Any unsigned or invalidly signed instructions by others should not be considered legitimate.

Please note that withdrawals will only be open for a limited period of time and be solely administrated by those uninvolved with Micon's new operation who have been charged historically with maintaining SealsWithClubs solvency. Those able to stick around to process these withdrawals are hoping to commit to at least a few months of availability. We hope that this is sufficient in allowing all players to make their appropriate claims to their funds before they are made unavailable; in addition, we hope our players will do their part by spreading the word.

In line with remaining faithful to player security, we will not be providing Micon or his team with account passwords or authentication information or balance details. We will provide to him account names and the current e-mail addresses associated with them, as well as the krill amount associated to each account. This should allow his team, if they choose, to reserve usernames and e-mail password resets to users as well as honor their Krill amounts. Micon will also be provided the current e-mail address and account names of any affiliate accounts and the accounts associated under them so that he can choose to remain true to the affiliates in the affiliate program that he pioneered through the years for SealsWithClubs.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ACCOUNT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CLAIM YOUR KRILL AT SWCPOKER.EU IN THE FUTURE. YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO ADD OR CHANGE IT NOW USING THE FORM BELOW.

I reiterate for emphasis: Micon nor his team have not and will not be provided access to SealsWithClubs player funds or account credentials at any time. This limitation is not placed in order to hinder Micon or his operation, but rather, to remain true to the SealsWithClubs administration's commitment to player security and balance integrity to the very end.
