Mail de stars sobre sharkscope.
Mandé un correo a stars sobre el uso de sharkscope y me contestaron esto:
Hello Pablo,
Thank you for contacting PokerStars.
PokerStars has been listening to recent player feedback regarding such sites. We are aware that many players rely on SharkScope to easily check their own trends and statistics. An equally large number of players have expressed concerns about their private data being in third party hands, and widely available to others without their permission.
We want to limit the amount of information that third party results websites can publish because of our strong commitment to upholding the integrity of our games. We oppose websites publishing player profitability data by default for two key reasons:
Firstly, many of our players simply do not want their ROI information to be publicly available. They have a right to privacy of this information.
Secondly, it gives an unfair advantage to those players who are able to obtain ROI data about players who have not consented for their information to be shown.
At this time, the use of SharkScope is prohibited only when the PokerStars game client is running. If you wish to check your own statistics on SharkScope, you may still do so provided the PokerStars software is closed.
In the near future, we will be making changes to our software to prevent sites like SharkScope from extracting the data from the PokerStars client without either the permission of PokerStars, or the players concerned. Once these changes are implemented, we expect the accuracy and completeness of data offered by these datamining sites to plummet.
If your goal is to track your own trends, then we recommend you use a hand history analyzer to import your own hand histories as they happen. Among the many available trackers are:
HoldemManager.net
PokerOffice.com
PokerTracker3.com
If you wish your past historical data to be available, PokerStars would be pleased to send to you a copy of every hand history you have ever played, in order to get you started in using such a tracker.
Regards,
