Actualizacion en WPEX

Dijeron que lo harían en Septiembre, y han cumplido. Pero también dijeron que eliminarían los nombres de los demás jugadores en la mano, para que sirviera sólamente para análisis personal y no para buscar peces.



¿Podéis confirmarnos si incluyen o no los nombres de los rivales?

Pues yo no aun no he jugado porque no hay mesas de 0,50/1, pero espero que eso no sea verdad, porque sería peor el remedio que la enfermedad.

As many of you have found out by now WPEX had an update today that starts writing the hand histories to your hard drive.



Unfortunately, this has create a number of problems...



1. The format is different so I need to adjust the PT code to handle this.

2. They did away, at least as far as I can tell, with the ability to still request the hands via email.

3. Worst of all, the hand histories do not show real player names for any player other than yourself. In place of real player names they use "Player 1", "Player 2", etc.



I will try to get the patch out ASAP, it probably will not be until tomorrow (Thu. Sept. 7).

No sé cómo van a sacar un parche para solucionarlo. Al fin y al cabo las manos son un archivo de texto, vamos, que no tienen nada oculto, así que los de Poker Tracker poco o nada podrán hacer.

Yo les he mandado un email a los de WPEX para quejarme y me han dicho que han remitido a la cuestión al "departamento de desarrollo"... A la papelera, vamos. De todas maneras me supongo que si todo el mundo se queja, tendrán que cambiarlo. Es que es ridículo estar así...

Si, pero lo unico que dice es que han cambiado el formato de las mano, que han eliminado la posibilidad de pedir las manos via email y que mañana sacarán el patch para poder importar las manos.

No dicen nada de cómo arreglar lo de los nombres de los jugadores, ya que me temo que ellos no pueden hacer nada al respecto.

Este asunto tiene muy mala pinta. Estoy viendo los foros de 2+2 y hay mucha gente totalmente de acuerdo con esta situacion porque dicen que así acabarán con los HUDS (segun ellos, semi-bot multitable players) y que de esta manera atraerán a jugadores de casino y apuestas que quieren pasar el rato y no jugar contra los susodichos HUDS............ Los que lo dicen, me supongo que también se la picara bastante todo el tema de odds, pot odds, ser tight, etc...

Por cierto, soy Spanishplayer ahi.

En cualquier caso, si esto sirve para atraer a muchos pececillos, me va a dar casi igual lo de las manos. Vale, si, fastidia pero si en la mesa estas sentado con 7 pescaditos y 2 TAGs que conoces, ni tan mal...

yo sin gametime no jugare, eso lo tengo mas que claro. Espero que solucionen todo este tema, porque para 1 sala que ofrece 100% de rakeback ahora toca cambiarse. Una putada, pero prefiero jugar pacific party o pokerstars donde tengo programas estadisticos que jugar a ciegas. Un saludo.

Muy a nuestro pesar Wpx no pretende ser la sala de los "profesionales", entre otras cosas porque eso no le interesa.

Desde un principio WSEX dejó bien claro que devolvían el Rake como método para atraer clientela para su negocio de apuestas...

el Semi-pro (como diría Carreño) no le interesa a WSEX porque juega al poker pero no apuesta y jugando solo al poker no da beneficios.

Por eso era el retraso en el envío de manos.... CONFUSEd (estoy convencido de que era intencionado y como yo otra gente de este foro que ya lo dijo - o lo dio a entender- en su momento)

en el foro de pokertracker dicen que en el foro de 2+2 alguien del equipo de WSEX comenta (esto parece lo de un amigo de un amigo me dijo que su amigo .. :p :p :p ) que lo de no poner el nombre de los jugadores fue un descuido. This patch will allow you to import the new WPEX hands that are being stored on your hard drive.

Here is the patch. After you install, the version number should be v2.14.00a

To import the hands open the File > Auto-Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries - Generic Setup window.

Select "Look for files on my PC" from the "Use" column.

Select "All text files in folder..." from the bottom section of the window. Click on the Configure button. Click the Add Folder button and navigate to and select the folder where WPEX is writing the hands which, if you used the default to install WPEX, should be C:\Program Files\WorldPx\SavedHands.

Click the OK button to go to the next window.

Check the "Move processed files to the following folder..." box and then tell PT a folder to move the files to after they are read. Use something like C:\Processed_WPEX_Hands - do not use a folder name that is within the same path as were the new hands are being written.

Click the Force Import button to get PT to load any of the hands that were played from the time they started writing to the files on the HD. IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF HANDS THIS WILL TAKE A WHILE BECAUSE EACH HAND IS WRITTEN TO IT'S OWN FILE!!!!

As you probably all know by now, WPEX has stopped writing the actual player names in the hand histories. They did include a uniqe player ID but this was an oversight on their part, they will be removing that soon. They are doing this because they don't mind people tracking their own play but they don't want people to be able to use PT/PAHUD/GT+ to track the play of other players. I have no control over this. If you have a problem with this you need to contact WPEX.

Because the players are all called "Player 0", "Player 1", etc. I didn't want there to be a ton of hands loaded for all these generic players. So I append the table name and the date to the player name so it will display as "Player 0 (
/mon-dd-yy)".

And another FYI, they removed the option to request hand histories via email so the Auto-Request Hand Histories window is no longer functional for WPEX.

In a soon to be released patch I will add a specific auto-import window for WPEX and I know that some of the hands don't replay correctly and I have Mike looking into that.

el programador del pokertracker dice que no quiere leer las manos directamente de lo que dice el dealer por si wsex banea su programa, pero ¿no es exactamente eso lo que hace el pokeroffice por ejemplo en titan?, bueno, en titan y en cualquier sala, por eso puede poner por ejemplo las odds en tiempo real, porque tiene toda la información de la partida antes de que esta termine y se escriba en un fichero.

Pues nada, todos en igualdad de condiciones, ¿no? Ahora sí que me parece una sala cojonuda para entrenarse en el juego sin estadísticas sobreimpresionadas, que luego vas a un casino y te esperas que la gente se ponga un cartelito delante con 3 numeritos...

Estoy con Nepundo, nos sirve para entrenar, luego sin estadisticas no somos nadie.
