La mano 25 billones de PokerStars termina con un fallo épico

Este fin de semana PokerStars ha tenido una afluencia masiva. La noche del domingo había más de 250.000 jugadores con sesión iniciada. El motivo de todo esto no eran los torneos del domingo, Sunday Million, Sunday Warm-Up, Second Chance, Turbo Takedown, etc. En esta ocasión el motivo venía de las mesas de cash.

PokerStars estaba a punto de llegar a su mano 25 billones (25 billones ingleses, que son 25.000 millones aquí, que el billón es un millón de millones). Y lo iba a celebrar por todo lo alto. El ganador de la mano se llevaría 100.000$ en metálico, además de un paquete para la gran final del EPT en Monte Carlo, un paquete para el PokerSTars Caribbean Adventure, un paquete para el evento principal de las World Series of Poker y un ticket para el evento principal del World Championship of Online Poker. Nada menos.

La mano se ha hecho esperar hasta la mañana de hoy, en la que era prácticamente imposible entrar en ninguna mesa. Las listas de espera en los niveles más bajos llegaban, y pasaban en muchos casos, a las 100 personas. En Póquer-Red lo intentamos en una mesa de NL1.000, pero no hubo suerte.

Esto es lo que viene siendo un fallo épico.

La mesa agraciada sería Susilva, mesa de Omaha Hi/Lo 1$/2$ 6-max Fast. Pero cuando parecía que la noticia terminaba, empezaba realmente lo bueno. Confedrate, uno de los seis jugadores de la mesa, se había quedado Sitting out dos manos antes de ésta, y estaba esperando la ciega grande. Debido a esto, y a pesar de que él celebró con el resto la llegada de la mano 25 billones, no podía participar ni de la posibilidad de llevarse el premio, ni tan siquiera de los 100.000$ de consolación que se repartirían entre el resto de jugadores de la mano.

Además, debido a la gran afluencia de jugadores y público, el primer jugador en hablar, NeonFrost quedaba timed out y por lo tanto perdía sus opciones de hacerse con la mano, que además ganaría con color a la dama por el color a la jota que se llevó el bote final mente (o mejor dicho la parte del bote de high.
